There are several things to remember when heading off to your ski and snowboard lessons.  For your convenience, we've listed many of them below.

Equipment
Each student will need up-to-date equipment including boots, skis or snowboards, poles, ski break or board retention devices, and bindings which have been specifically adjusted to fit the skiers boots before beginning class (see your local ski shop technician for that).  The new shaped skis are encouraged as they help students progress faster.  All equipment must be in good working condition.  The Grass Roots Outdoor store in Everett has a great selection of everything you need for your first day of lessons.  Please no sunglasses on children, only goggles.  Be sure equipment has been checked and is in proper working order before the first day of class.  You will then get the maximum benefit from instruction from the very beginning.  Clancy’s Ski and Snowboard School instructors do not adjust bindings.

Clothing
Dressing for the changing weather conditions involves common sense and we recommend dressing in layers as they can be easily added or removed depending on how cold or warm you are.  Students should have a snow parka, snow pants, top and bottom thermal underwear, warm shirt, sweater, hat or helmet, warm socks and ski gloves with thermal liners.  Cotton is discouraged, fleece and wool are encouraged.  It is also handy to have a small bag or backpack for lunch and extra gear.  Be prepared for wet weather – always bring rain gear and a change of clothes.

Attendance
There will be no refund or make-up lesson if a student misses a class, unless classes have been cancelled by the ski school.  In that event, a make-up session will be announced.

Registration
All clients are registered upon arrival of application to the office (see how to contact us and mailing address).  All class times and bus spaces are reserved for the entire season.  For this reason, we cannot give refunds after December 30th.

**Service charge for processing refunds is $30.00**

We reserve the right to refuse registration and lessons to anyone.

Lift Tickets
Stevens Pass offers a program called Advantage Card for all students.  Please see their website for more information of it.  This will take the place of previous years where Clancy's sold tickets on the bus or at our Stevens Pass gathering location.

Notice
As we cannot guarantee the season’s weather, we do not guarantee the six week sessions will occur consecutively.  We do guarantee to furnish all services during the normal ski season January through March, or return unused portion of tuition within 45 days of season termination less a refund processing fee of $30.  Midseason cancellations are non-refundable.
